Calming life’s conflicts is the unique therapeutic approach used by Mindy in her counseling practice. Trained in social work and psychoanalysis, she helps her patients face and resolve the inevitable conflicts of life with compassion, courage and optimism.

Mindy began her career path as an attorney, helping her clients resolve legal and business conflicts and then decided to change careers and follow her passion to become a psychotherapist. Mindy uses the skills of conflict resolution she learned as a lawyer in her therapy practice, helping patients identify conflict, both internal and external, as the source of their emotional distress.

Mindy is a prolific writer for The Huffington Post, a sought-after relationship expert and a speaker at workshops focusing on relationship and work conflicts, marriage and parenting.

A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Mindy received her law degree from George Washington University and her MSW from New York University School of Social Work, as well as certification as a psychoanalyst by the National Institute for the Psychotherapies. She earned a specialty in couple and family counseling at New York University Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis and a certificate in mediation at the Ackerman Institute for the Family.
